Our aim was to provide custom framing direct to the public from a factory outlet. The popularity of this concept was staggering and soon the wholesale side of the business had to be discontinued due to the demand for custom framing. Framed art and framed mirrors have been added to the mix, along with pre-made frames, photo frames, portrait frames and picture frame matting.
In 2001 a second Factory Frames outlet was established in East Tamaki. Each outlet is equipped with the latest automotive mat cutting equipment and picture gallery. The North Shore outlet is a state of the art production facility that produces custom framing, framed art, framed mirrors and ready made frames for both locations.
In 2006 we moved into our North Shore Superstore and this move coincided with the inclusion of canvas printing being added to our mix of products and services. This move was followed in early 2007 by the launch of framesonline.co.nz which has enabled New Zealander's all over the country and overseas to benefit from the Factory Frames experience.
In May 2011 our East Tamaki operation was moved to 72 Lunn Ave, Mt Wellington to an exciting enlarged Mega Store to replicate the branding of our successful North Shore operation.
